Learn more about Australia’s wildlife at the Keeper Talks. You will find talks on reptiles and many of the furry friends. A highlight is the Conservation in Action wildlife show. Learn about conserving native wildlife as you watch the clever 20-minute display. It is both entertaining and a great opportunity to learn insightful details about the different species. Watch animals such as a dingoes, barn owls and barking owls. See cockatoos and tawny frogmouths. Watch them as they go about their training and are rewarded for their natural behaviour.
With all your exploring, you are sure to get hungry. There are several options to refuel. The sanctuary features the Wetlands Café with yummy meal options. Dine indoors in the air-conditioned café or continue to enjoy the outdoors on the deck. The deck overlooks the wetlands and bird life. Or grab a tasty snack form the Blue Gum Kiosk. You will find takeaway food, ice-creams, and hot and cold drinks. You may also bring your own picnic. There are outside picnic tables. Or hire a BBQ and bring your own food to cook up a feast.
